Tennessee DI Day 2008

Thank you for your interest in Tennessee DI Day 2008.

DI is Destination ImagiNation, Inc., the world's largest problem-solving program for kids. The University of Tennessee is hosting DI's Global Finals 2008 competition May 21-24 on the Knoxville campus.

Parents, educators and anyone else interested in learning more about DI are invited to a free informational session on Friday, May 23, featuring a DI team from Tennessee.

DI leaders will also share a brief overview of the DI program and how it can benefit you and your youth. DI helps kids develop a unique and critical skill set by emphasizing creativity, knowledge application, collaboration, teamwork, project management, presentation skills, budgeting skills, and numerous others.

The program begins at 10 a.m. in the Knoxville Convention Center in downtown Knoxville. Dress is very casual (bring your walking shoes), and a complimentary lunch will be provided.

Registration is easy.

Simply send a short e-mail message to Darrin Devault at ddevault@utk.edu with "Tennessee DI Day -- Include Me!" in the subject line.

Please give your name, address, phone number(s), school affiliation (if any), and the category that best describes you (parent, educator, child care worker, other).

You may register more than one person, but please include the number and names of the persons in your group.
